Recorded 10-11 December 1977 at Friends of Great Black Music Loft, Boston, Mass.

Exceedingly scarce and very beautiful private jazz lp out of Boston on Freelance Records, whose only two other releases were by spiritual jazz outfit Birthright, of which Paul Gresham was a member. Gresham seemingly disappeared from performance after this album. While there are a couple of standards on the lp, they're done in a fairly unconventional manner, very spacious, somewhat melancholy and low-key. The whole record is infused with a subtleness I find very refreshing. Highly Recommended!!!

Record/Sleeve : VG++/VG++ : A couple of minor surface scuffs, plays very well with only the occasional light surface noise. Sleeve has a bit of ring wear, outer spine exhibits wear, price sticker on upper top front, a little bit of yellowing to back cover.




Grading:

Mint: New or sealed (if not sealed then I opened it myself...)
NM: Played just a few times, like new.
Ex or Excellent: A record that has been played a handful of times and has been very well taken care of. No audible scratches to speak of, maybe a pop or two.
VG+ or VG++: A very decent used record, a few pops and/or some very light scratches but very acceptable.
VG: A record that has scratches, pops and is starting to show some serious wear.
Good etc.: Many scratches, writing on cover, a useable but rough record. 
Poor: unplayable or nearly so, filler copy - I would only sell a very rare record in this condition.
