Description
Vertigo 6360059, Crucifix in a Horseshoe LP by Paul Jones. Undated, but from 1971.
Gatefold sleeve is sound and in fairly good condition, small areas of surface having lifted across the top seen above the eye and to the right of the vertigo label, on the reverse a small stain and damage near top right corner, otherwise some wear but certainly not bad. Inside the gatefold is clean and in good order. No print along the spine.
The disc is in a poly-lined sleeve which has 6360059 stamped in one corner and 'Paul Jones' hand-written in red felt-tip. This is in good order with some discolouration. Vinyl sits quite flat and weighs 139 grammes. Plain white labels to both sides, side 2 is overwritten in the same hand and felt tip. The lead-out on side one is imprinted '6360059 2Y// (downward pointing triangle)420 1 1 1' and side two reads '6360059 2Y//1 1 1 1'.
Evidence of fairly light usage from spindle-marks about the hole and fairly clean dust-wise, there are a few quite heavy marks, then some areas of superficial marks that I'd be prepared to overlook; it might benefit from a clean. I have seen worse, by far, but have no intention to mislead and would describe the vinyl's condition as 'fair'. I was disappointed at first sight, then thought that apart from a few areas of heavier marking it may not be too bad. I do not have the means to play the disc.
