Paul McCartney - 'Long Tall Sally / I Saw Her Standing There'. PRO-PRINCE 1

Paul McCartney 1987 unreleased UK DEMO pressing of 'Long Tall Sally / I Saw Her Standing There' 7" single. Released on the 24th April 1987, this is Paul's only appearance on A & M records.

The standard version of this single was packaged alongside an LP titled 'The Prince's Trust Tenth Anniversary Birthday Party'. This was a live event at Wembley Arena, London, England with the patron Prince Charles in attendance with his wife Diana, Princess of Wales. The event was a celebration and fund raising concert with the proceeds going to Prince Charles charity. Paul's version of 'Long Tall Sally / I Saw Her Standing There' was considered one of the strongest and best performances so was issued as a promotional single for the LP. It was never officially released as a stand alone single.

Both labels state 'SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE' and have the promo catalog number of 'PRO-PRINCE 1'. 'SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE' and the record company address are also printed within the black label but this is very hard to photograph. These initial early demo pressings would have been given out to reviewers and radio stations prior to the actual release date.

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition.
