Paul McCartney - 'Spies Like Us (DJ Version) / My Carnival'. RDJ 6118

Paul McCartney 1985 1st UK DEMO pressing of 'Spies Like Us (DJ Version) / My Carnival' 7" single. Released on the 18th November 1985, this is a pre-release demo issue with a different mix to the commercially released version. In addition, the vinyl also comes housed within a pre-release demo only issue sleeve. The vinyl, labels and sleeve are all in STUNNING MINT-/MINT- condition. You will simply not find a better condition copy.

As mentioned above this demo version actually features a different mix to the final released version. The standard copy runs for 4.40 minutes compared to 3.46 minutes on this issue. When finally released the vinyl was housed in a glossy 1980's style colour sleeve. This version has a simple white die-cut sleeve with 'SPIES LIKE US' printed to both sides. The catalog number is also different to the standard released version:  RDJ 6118 (DEMO) R 6118 (standard).

Both labels state 'FOR PROMOTIONAL USE ONLY NOT FOR SALE'.These initial early demo pressings would have been given out to reviewers and radio stations prior to the actual release date.

The vinyl is in MINT- condition. STUNNING CONDITION.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in MINT- condition.
