On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Paul McCartney/Wings called 'Back To The Egg' and is an ORIGINAL 1979 UK 1st PICTURE DISC pressing!!!! THIS LP IS ONE OF THE ALL TIME BEATLES RELATED RARITIES AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!  IT IS BELIEVED THAT ONLY 100 COPIES OF THIS LP WAS EVER PRESSED IN PICTURE DISC FORMAT - AND AS A RESULT THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST BEATLES RARITIES EVER!!!!  IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THIS IS A 100% GENIUNE PICTURE DISC - AS IT HAS MACHINE STAMPED YEX-987-2 & YEX-988-4 MATRIXES, MACHINE STAMPED 5/H & 1/TR MOTHER & STAMPER CODES, AND 'NICK W' & 'NICK' ETCHED ON EITHER SIDE ('NICK W' ON ONE SIDE & 'NICK' ON THE OTHER)!!!!  THE INNER SLEEVE IS ALSO 100% ORIGINAL - BEING TRANSPARENT AND WITH A DISTINCTIVE BLUE RECTANGLE IN ONE CORNER.  THE COVER IS ALSO CLEARLY ORIGINAL TO THE PICTURE DISC TOO - WITH A 'SAMPLE' STICKER ON THE REVERSE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF THE COVER!!!!  THE 'SAMPLE' STICKER HAS SLIGHTLY 'COME AWAY' AT ONE END OF THE STICKER (SEE PICTURE) - AND THIS CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THIS STICKER IS 100% ORIGINAL FROM NEW AS THERE IS OLD DRIED OUT RESIDUE UNDERNEATH (SEE PICTURE) - WHERE THAT PART OF THE STICKER WAS ONCE STUCK.  INTERESTINGLY THE COVER IS 'UNCUT' - BUT THIS COVER IS CLEARLY 100% ORIGINAL TO THIS PICTURE DISC, AND THE PICTURE DISC AND INNER ARE CLEARLY 100% GENIUNE - SO I HARDLY SEE THAT AS BEING ANY KIND OF DEFECT.  IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT TO NOTE (AND VERY LIKELY) THAT ON A TINY PRESSING RUN AS THIS PICTURE DISC WAS PRESSED ON, THAT THE AMOUNT OF THE SLEEVES AND DISCS DIDNT EXACTLY MATCH UP - SO IT IS LIKELY THAT THIS DISC WAS ONE OF A FEW EXTRA DISCS PUT INTO A STANDARD 'SAMPLE' STICKERED COVER.   EITHER WAY - THE PREVIOUS OWNER WAS 100% CERTAIN THAT THIS IS HOW IT CAME, AND I AM ALSO COMPLETELY HAPPY TO OFFER A LIFETIME GUARANTEE THAT THIS IS A 100% GENIUNE PICTURE DISC!!!!  THIS MEGA RARE PICTURE DISC IS ONE OF THE ALL TIME BEATLES RARITIES AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS SERIOUSLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is an ORIGINAL Parlophone UK 1st PICTURE DISC pressing from 1979 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is PCTCP 257 and is a UK Stereo 1st PICTURE DISC pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Paul McCartney/Wings at their best!!!! Any fan of Paul McCartney, The Beatles, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

Picture Discs of course dont have record labels - but the central area around the hole is in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and under normal bright room conditions this picture disc looks SUPERB with absolutely NO defects!!!!  Under a STRICT 100 watt bulb this record has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, and only some VERY light paper scuffing only visible under EXTREME light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!!  The record plays with NO nasty loud pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss, and only some VERY slight low level background crackle in places (typical of these picture disc pressings)!!!! There is NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better - though under normal room conditions (which is surely all that matters on this kind of item?) this PICTURE DISC looks AWESOME!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL transparent inner sleeve!!!! The Garrod & Lofthouse 'Sample' Stickered Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (most of the cover is UNCREASED - just a few creases near to each corner), barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO wear, and NO yellowing!!!! This Cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!   THIS LP IS ONE OF THE ALL TIME BEATLES RELATED RARITIES AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  IT WILL SURELY BE A VERY VERY LONG TIME (IF EVER) BEFORE YOU GET ANOTHER CHANCE TO OWN THIS MASSIVELY RARE LP - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS SERIOUSLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
