Description
PAUL McCARTNEY
The Family Way
1967 DECCALK 4847 Matrix no's : XARL7598 - 2A / 7599 - 2A
The vinyl retains excellent deep sheen - examined under a bright light there are lots of visible marks but really only fine hairlines and one or two other more significant marks and this it is graded EXCELLENT MINUS - some minor surface noise audible but really only in quiet parts and between tracks - of which there are a few on this Lp - but really nothing too distracting.
The RED and SILVER UNBOXED DECCA record labels are graded EXCELLENT with little visible spindle wear.
The THIN CARD FRONT LAMINATED PICTURE sleeve printed by CLOUT & BAKER is EXCELLENT MINUS - would be excellent but for some tape residue on the back top seam ( not sure why as no split or wear etc ). Overall little wear - few creases and slight discolouration to white back but remains in great shape and spine is strong and 100% legible etc. is in remarkably good shape and is graded EXCELLENT MINUS - three or four paler visible marks on front and a surface tear front top right ( sticker removal ? ). The back has fewer marks and remains excellent.
A great copy of an even greater and super rare LP that was withdrawn very soon after release...
SHIPPING
All Lps are packed carefully and shipped using purpose made new corrugated card RECORD MAILERS ( not thin card, single sleeve 'envelopes' etc ) and we take care to make sure that the vinyl and inner sleeve are removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits during transit.POSTAGE:
