Description
- Paul McCartney & Wings released "Wild Life" in December 1971 on Apple Records. It was McCartney's third post-Beatles effort and the first credited to Wings which at that point, in addition to Paul and Linda, consisted of Denny Laine on guitars and keyboards and Denny Seiwell on drums.
- This copy (SW 3386) is from the first pressing and is in excellent condition. It still has its original factory shrink wrap and easily grades VG+. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is also VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Lee Hulko at Sterling Sound in NYC and pressed at the Capitol Records plant in Los Angeles. The Side 1 dead wax is etched SW-1-3386 Z113• 1 and stamped ? Sterling 2 LH.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
- Free shipping is included in the special corrugated album mailer seen in the last picture.
- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 50 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
