Description
Paul Revere & The Raiders- Like, Long Hair LP, original 1961 issue on La's Gardena Label. Mono, Cat# LP-G1000. Trail-off etched "G-1000-1" and "PR-1-A" crossed out.
Rare original Northwest psych/garage holy grail! First pressing of the debut LP.
Vinyl is VG, still with most of its original gloss/shine and a couple of dull whitish marks (pressing flaws I assume). Both sides have some pretty pervasive light surface hairlines and a modest amount scattered scratches (nothing too deep or scary). Disc plays with a fair amount light surface noise and occasional ticks, pops and clicks, a few of which are a little jarring and distracting. Overall still a nice listen, the flaws certainly not overpowering the music.
Cover is actually NM! Light yellowing, just a touch of ring-wear and minor corner wear. Very nice, corners are sill pretty crisp after all these years. Very nice!
Labels are nice and clean with moderate spindle marks and some very minor surface scuffing.
Check out my other auctions, I'm also selling a few MINT radio promos and my original Sande LP. I will combine shipping costs on multiple wins with no extra charge.
Buyer pays $4.00 shipping within The US, $7.00 to Canada and $15.00 all other international destinations.
