One of the most sought after Brazilian jazz albums of the 70s -- and one of the strongest ever recorded by the great Paulo Moura!
The album's a different one than you might expect from Moura, especially given his recent turn towards more traditional forms --
as it features many complicated arrangements, stretching towards the Milton Nascimento/Minas Gerais generation, then a leading force in MPB,
with a clear and outspoken influence from jazz. As such, it's no surprise that Nascimento's keyboardist, Wagner Tiso, plays heavily on the album --
and one track even features piano from Milton himself -- and the rest of the group features drums by Robertinho, bass by Luiz Carlos,
and trumpet by the great Marcio Montarroyos. There's still a bit of bossa in the mix, standing easily next to the nascent MPB styles --
and titles include "Vera Cruz", "Cravo E Canela", "Bitucadas No 2", "Fibra", "Ana Lia's Blues", "Filgueiras", and "General Da Banda

includes the important and oustanding beautiful version of nascimento`s CRAVO E CANELA!!!!!!!!!!

very hard to find original -- there are 2 offered in discogs for around 280 to 320 usd !! so take this chance!!!
