This is truly an uplifting listen. So raw, so joyful, so purely in it for the good fight. Labels like SHADOKS had been re-issuing this type of stuff for a while, but the whole Zam-Rock scene really seemed to gain recognition around 2009 when hip hop producers were slinging it and NPR started running stories on it. Even then, this release has received very little notoriety, which is possibly because it's even rarer than the already hideously-scarce grails from Paul Ngozi, WITCH, The Question Mark, Amanaz, etc.
It has at last surfaced and I'm indebted to it. Fuzzy, funk-based rock with real politics.100% dynamite.
