HERE WE HAVE A SUPERB, UK EPIC (EPC 484448 1) VERY FIRST PRESSING (August 1996 ) OF PEARL JAM'S "No Code" LP - ALL IN BEAUTIFUL, POSSIBLY UNPLAYED CONDITION (see detailed audio assessment below)

No Code is the fourth studio album by the American alternative rock band Pearl Jam, released on August 27, 1996 through Epic Records. Following a troubled tour for its previous album, Vitalogy (1994), in which Pearl Jam engaged in a much-publicized boycott of Ticketmaster, the band went into the studio to record its follow-up. The music on the record was even more diverse than what the band had done on previous releases, incorporating elements of garage rock, worldbeat, and experimentalism.
The album package consists of 144 Polaroid photos that unfold into a 2x2 square. The Polaroid photos are seemingly random. One of the photos featured on the front cover is the eyeball of former Chicago Bulls player, as well as fan and friend of Pearl Jam, Dennis Rodman, while another photo is of Vedder's foot after he had been stung by a stingray.The pictures, when viewed from afar, blend to form the No Code triangle/eyeball logo that is the theme throughout the album. Later pressings of the album fold into a 1x4 strip, thus losing the 'hidden message' effect. These later pressings also include the band name and album title printed directly onto the album cover — the original release contained this information on a removable sticker.

BEAUTIFUL, BARELY PLAYED UK FIRST PRESSING AND A FINER COPY WOULD BE PRETTY HARD TO LOCATE - TREMENDOUS LP

LABELS: The labels are CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO wear, NO writing and NO evident spindles. The record shows NO evidence of ever being played at all
VINYL Visual: All surfaces are CLEAN and BRIGHT with their original DEEP, LIKE-NEW, GLOSSY SHEEN. There are a couple of (very) light hairlines but these have NO audio consequence. BEAUTIFUL RECORD
VINYL Audio: OUTSTANDING audio delivery - CRYSTAL CLEAR, RICH, WARM and VIBRANT. There are NO scratches, NO sticks/jumps, just some light surface noise on the first (quiet) track but otherwise, SUPERB. Plays BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT to an extremely high standard with NO groove-wear and NO distortion. Must be critically graded EXCELLENT+ for audio (because of the light surface but otherwise, NEAR MINT and a better UK first press copy I do not think you will find). NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page)
SLEEVE: The original matte, THICK card fold out cover (with rough cut edges) is in EXCELLENT+ condition - CLEAN, BRIGHT and UNMARKED with just one crease to the bottom corner. The front sticker is UNTOUCHED
INNER SLEEVES: Both inner sleeves are MINT with NO wear and NO splits. The LP is now housed - and will be posted in - a new inner to prevent any 'knifing' damage to the original during transit
INSERTS: All 9 inserts are MINT with little evidence of ever being handled
