Description
This is an original, first pressing of Pearl Jam's first album.
I don't grade records because I don't have the qualifications or knowledge to do so, but I will thoroughly describe it and you can grade it for yourself. Note that I'm being very thorough as a service to bidders because I believe in being honest, but the record is pretty nice overall. You can see for yourself as I have added TEN pictures for detail.
The outer sleeve of the record is in great shape and covered by the original, but opened, shrink wrap. The sticker with a price of 9.99 is still on the shrink.
The inner sleeve is in very good shape overall, but does have a separation on one side that is probably close to three inches long. I took a picture of it so you can see for yourself.
Side one of the record has a long scratch that I'm told does not affect play. Please note that I have not listened to the record since I bought it, so I cannot guarantee that. Please bid assuming that the scratch does affect play. Additionally, there is some very light scuffing at the bottom of the label on side one. It's difficult to see, but check out the picture carefully and you can see it. Side two of the record is virtually perfect.
There is a bit of a smell to the sleeve that seems to smell like an old record store. If you put it close to your face, you can smell it. It's probably not a big deal, but just wanted to add that.
I am going to start the auction at TEN bucks just as though it was 1991 again. I paid much more than that and believe it's worth much more, but I want to generate interest and think it's a cool place to start the bidding!
