Please note: Any and all phantom lines, whites areas, shadows, spots, etc. in the photos are simply due to lighting reflections...including the little frown face above the lamb's nose. I have no idea where that little guy came from because he's not on the cover or shrink (as shown in last photo). Pretty trippy, though.
Up for auction is this clean, original, sealed copy of Pearl Jam's Vs. Epic Z-53136 label, 1993. I bought this today from the original owner, who bought it in 1993 for investment purposes...with the intention of never opening it. He told me at his garage sale that he was selling his sealed vinyl because he needed to raise money (he was laid off from his job last week). So much for the "recession" being over.
The gatefold cover/jacket is a solid NM condition...extremely clean. Shrink is 99.9% sealed/intact, with the proper factory air holes. No warp factor is evident. No ring or seam wear. The seam edges and corners are crisp, with no bumping, besides a minor bump at the upper-right. The upper-left corner of the front has two pencil-tip sized dimples into the cardboard (not punctures)...and they're quite minor when the overall condition of the cover is taken into account. The factory "Pearl Jam" sticker is nicely squared and affixed to the exterior of shrink. Vinyl is mint-from-the-factory...unplayed...untouched.
I grade all my vinyl seriously, according to Goldmine's scale...and I guarantee this is the original shrink/cellophane. Will be shipped in a proper corrugated LP box, along with a thick poly sleeve.
