PEKKA POHJOLA SUPER RARE, SYMPHONIC/PROGRESSIVE ROCK CLASSIC from 1979. This is one of the best Symph Progressive Rock efforts out of Europe in the 70's. Never re-issued on vinyl!

Dig It /DIGLP 4 (ORIGINAL and ONLY FINNISH RELEASE!) *many german, Italian, French, Swedish, etc LP's were released without shrinkwrap, sealed copies never existed, a common practice in Europe during the 70's!
Rarely ever seen in any condition in the USA.
*4th album by Finnish composer / bassist Pekka Pohjola, one of the greatest Scandinavian musicians of all time, recorded with a brilliant group of musicians and featuring some of his best early music, which combines Rock, Prog and Jazz. The album contains six extended compositions, which serve as a vehicle for the musicians to improvise and express their individual statements. The depth of the compositions and the incredible performances make this into the most perfect album Pohjola created in the first phase of his magnificent career, associated with Prog, whereas his second phase would be dedicated to both contemporary Classical Music and Jazz. Pohjola's untimely death in 2008 was a tremendous loss to the world of music. This relatively little known Prog masterpiece is very hard to find, so grab it if you get a chance. Brilliant stuff!

- IMPORTANT: Collecting is allowed, but payment within 10 days required! Payments should be sent within 5 days of auction closing.
