ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?:    Yes, it is...includes lyrics sheet, plus another sheet serving as an order form/advertisement for their Restless label's catalogue.

Amazing AMAZING LP!!!! Take the VERY best bits of obscure UK rural folk-psych from the early 70's, and mix it with the pinnacles reached by the likes of, say, Pentangle and Fairport Convention...and you have an idea of just how awesome this LP is. The couple of more trad folk songs fit in perfectly. The male/female vocals match equally perfectly, and the guitar-playing is part-trippy/part-ethereal/part Bert Jansch. The bottom line is that it's worthy of every accolade it's received over the years! Penny's voice is part Celia Humpris (of Trees)/part Sandy Denny, and, at moments, part Annie Haslam (of Renaissance).

Back cover is hand-signed by Penny and Roger...to a friend of theirs called Lynda (Walsh - who is mentioned in the 'Thank yous' near the bottom)...it says:'

"To Lynda, much love, Christmas 1984, Penny & Roger" 

(Penny wrote those words, and Roger added '& Roger')

CONDITION - COVER:  ( VG+[+] )...has some scuffing in the corners and on the opening edges, plus some very minor creases near the spine...and very mild ringwear...

CONDITION - RECORD:  ( VG++ )...has almost all of its original shine...with just a few very minor marks/scuffs only...looks beautfiul!...plays with some crackles...

 

CONDITION - LABELS:   (Side One: MINT / Side Two: MINT )...

 

PACKAGING AND MAILING:  Absolutely ALL care will be taken when packaging this - record and sleeve will be separated to avoid any damage in transit, and both will be packed in a sealed outer light plastic sleeve between layers of strong very flat and thick card - I've been doing this for a while and have attained a good safe packing standard.
