Artist - Pete Brown And His Battered Ornaments
Title - "A Meal You Can Shake Hands With In The Dark"
Label - UK EMI Harvest SHVL 752. The label is the classic Green/Yellow Harvest label. Label does not have EMI on it (as shown in the picture)

Sleeve Design - Laminated 'gatefold' sleeve both front and back. Full colour front of sleeve in bright orange with black lettering for band name and green lettering for album title. EMI/Harvest graphic on centre left of front of sleeve. Black and White rear of sleeve with band members photo and speech bubble band and album title graphic.
Record Details - The sleeve is in overall very good condition as shown in the pictures provided, it is graded at VG. The front of the sleeve has some small creases in the lamination and a small amount of staining around the entrance to the sleeve. All four corners are in tact without damage however there is some creasing in the lamination on the bottom right corner (as shown in the picture). In the top right of the front cover there is a small crease in the lamination (as shown in the picture. The front of the sleeve is bright and clear. The spine of the sleeve has some creasing and staining yet all of the lettering is clear and legible. The rear of the sleeve has some creasing around the spine and a small amount of damage at the top right (as shown in the picture). The gatefold element of the sleeve is clear and bright with some staining around the edges.
The record itself plays through with no issues or concerns and is graded at VG/EX, it has a clear sound throughout. Side 1 has very small surface marks that in no way affect playing or sound. Label on Side 1 has spindle marks as shown on picture. Side 2 has minimal surface marks that in no way affect playing or sound. Label on Side 2 has spindle marks (less than side 1) as shown on picture.
I have used the Rare Record Guide grading system to grade the overall condition of both the sleeve and the record itself.
Record Collector Magazine Grading System:
MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be Mint.
EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding.
The record will be packaged carefully using top quality record mailers and stiffeners.
