On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Pete Brown & His Battered Ornaments called 'A Meal You Can Shake Hands With In The Dark' and is a 1969 UK 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS A VERY RARE 1969 ORIGINAL HARVEST 1ST PRESSING!!!! IT HAS THE 1ST PRESS LABEL (with NO EMI box, and 'Gramophone Company' edge text, and VERY early stampers 1/O 1/P), A GATEFOLD COVER, & ITS ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE!!!! IT IS ALSO IN STUNNING CONDITION SO DONT MISS OUT!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Harvest UK 1st pressing from 1969 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is SHVL 752 on the ORIGINAL Harvest label (see picture) and is a UK stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Pete Brown & Battered Ornaments at their best!!!! Any fan of Pete Brown, Battered Ormanents, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The Gatefold Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! LOOK AT THE PICTURES - can you get much better???? It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, NO ringwear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is still VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The inside is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO Grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade FULL Excellent if not better!!!! A STUNNING GRADE FOR A VERY RARE RECORD!!!!
