PETE BROWN & PIBLOKTO! - THINGS MAY COME AND THINGS MAY GO BUT THE ART SCHOOL DANCE GOES ON FOREVER
Cream lyricist in great form with the highly acclaimed Piblokto! line-up - every track a great listen on this 1970 "under the radar" prog/psych rarity
Year/Label : 1970 UK HARVEST Label number : SHVL 768 Matrix numbers : SHVL 768 A - 1G, SHVL 768 B - 1G Stampers : 1 R / 1 RVery good plus (VG+) - bordering on "excellent" - condition jet black sheen vinyl - weighty, flat with just a few extremely faint paper scuffs and extremely wispy hairlines on each side, along with a couple of barely noticeable "shadow lines" on side 2, all of which are non-obvious, only really detectable with close inspection under a bright light, superficial and barely impinge upon the impressive stereo playback. Excellent very 1st press "non-EMI" labels with just a few small and extremely faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each. Fully laminated very good plus (VG+) condition MAL DEAN designed outer gatefold sleeve. All colours, photos, text and art work remain beautifully intact (what a brilliantly designed and iconic gatefold cover this is!) with firm unscuffed edges and a rigid spine. Each corner remains a nicely defined right angle with hardly any rubbing at all. There are some 1-2cm surface laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the spine on each side and the occasional sporadic small and non-obvious laminate crease next to the top and bottom edges but no significant areas of laminate lift at all. The inside of the gatefold is excellent with just a few very light handling/storage marks towards the right side bottom edge and vertical opening edge - all very minor indeed. I am sure that most people would grade the overall condition of this gatefold as "excellent" so my "very good plus" grade may be slightly conservative. Excellent (EX) stereo audio quality with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, interference, distortion, or repeated rotational clicks and any background crackle is at an absolute minimum. Just the very odd random extremely light click (2 0r 3) and the very occasional hint of some very light crackle during a couple of the quieter moments...negligible. Great tone with crystal clear instrumentation and every track a great listen. Comes with original & nice condition original plain white "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN" inner sleeve with no seam splits, tears or edge fraying, jus ta little very minor creasing, no age discolouration and remaining fully functional. A truly impressive condition copy of this hard to find and highly collectable UK 1st press 1970 rock rarity...timeless!

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits.
