PETE BROWN AND HIS BATTERED ORNAMENTS- The Week Looked Good On Paper B/W Morning Call. Fab midtempo whirling UK ’69 psych with big production, trippy Floyd-esque lyrics, eastern flavorings, groovy wah wah. There aren’t too many songs where I would describe the horns as psychy but this is one of them. They actually add rather than subtract! B-side is also excellent.
