Description
Released on the local S.F., CA 22 label in 1974 with title Music from Little Flint and this is a very little-known album, even here in the Bay Area. Sound is a mix of mid-70's radio-ready rock/singer-songwriter styles but with earthy, hippie roots. All of it is good but this is not my kinda sound so I've included an MP3 of my favorite cut below (mellotron shows up on several tracks but is most prominent here). Other songs include "Traveller", "Dead on the Line", "Song for the Asking", "Mississippi Queen", "Little Flint Lullabye" and more. Group is led by guitarist Pete "Big Boy" Miller and vocalist/keyboardist Derek Shepherd and album was recorded in the Little Flint cottage in the town of Norwich, England and released in the States in what must have been very limited numbers.
