Amazing, historic live set from the late folk legend! The record finds Seeger performing at Reed University in Oregon on February 15, 1955; at the time, Seeger was suffering from the effects of Senator Joe McCarthy's infamous HUAC blacklist, and could only play alternative venues like college campuses (Reed's president reportedly only allowed the concert under the condition that it not be promoted). However, a student group calling itself Mad Dog House (or M.D.H.) recorded the show and pressed it in a numbered limited edition of 500 two-10" sets (much to the chagrin of Seeger, when he found out). Needless to say, this item is a true rarity!

- Due to the mail theft epidemic in the Italian post office system, we no longer normally ship to addresses in Italy. Exceptions can be made for buyers willing to pay for Priority Mail, which is safer but much more expensive than First Class. Priority Mail can also be tracked. Please contact us if you are interested and we will provide a shipping quote.
