This is the Mono UK 1st Press of 'Peter and Gordon'. The 1st is complete with the earliest blue and black Columbia label, the original Emitex inner sleeve and the original 'patents pending' flipback laminated gatefold 1st press sleeve. This whole album is in rare superb condition.

The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a stunning bright shine, there is no whitening of the grooves at all; the vinyl is exceptionally glossy. There are just a couple of the faintest marks, otherwise each track looks immaculate. On playing the sound is warm and extremely clear, it sound superb. The blue and black Columbia label is sensational with bold black and sharp silver and blue text. There is only the very slightest spindle wear. The record is complete with the original inner sleeve in Excellent condition.

The cover is in Excellent condition. The laminate has a superb gloss, the image is sharp and the black is very bold. There is just the slightest edge wear and a couple of laminate creases. The back cover is extremely bright with only the slightest discolouration and the flipbacks are sealed and complete. The spine is firm with sharp text and the whole sleeve still feels extremely solid.
