Description
Flrtwood Mac - 'Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac' - 1968 mono LP on the Blue Horizon label - 7-63200. Matrix numbers A1 and B1.
The cover (printed by Ernest J. Day & Co - Patent Pending ) has moderate laminate creasing to the front (laminate is not torn or bubbled) and minor discolouration / foxing to the rear where the 'Fleetwood Mac' title is. There is some corner and spine wear - latter means that the spine title has been rubbed out although there is no split. Top and bottom seams are not affected and there are generally no major creases or tears - I will grade as VG+.
The record has quite a few faint / light marks but generally plays very nicely with clear sound reproduction. There is in fact remarkably little surface noise. There is however a slight warp to the edge of the record which I only noticed when it was on the turntable - this in no way affects play.
So - marks (but not real scratches) on the vinyl, a slight edge warp, but a record that plays a very definite EX - I will grade in my view strictly as VG overall.
The record retains its lustre - there is minor wear only to the labels and some spindle marks but no major damage. Please excuse the photo of the label which has really lightened the actual blue colour.
This is one of the records from my own collection - I am again going to sell a number over the next month or two.
