Description

Title:  Sten Clift/Peter Thomas - Sound Music Album 3

Original german pressing from 1973 on GOLDEN RING RECORDS,S 5031-24.Subject of this library record is “City & Traffic”,the music covers different moods of both:there are tracks of “hectic,panic,concrete jungle” as well as of “loneliness,emptiness,desolation”.24 cool tracks,11 by Thomas and 13 by Clift.The Thomas-tracks remind a lot of his work for “Command Spatial” / ”Raumschiff Orion” and of his spy/crime/drama-music he wrote for the Edgar Wallace movie scores.Some jazz with sax- or trombone-soloing,some beat,60ies guitar-sounds and more.Outstanding tracks are:”Manhattan Traffic”,”Documentation” or “Silver Drops”.Contains the original company innersleeve with pictures.Please watch the other Peter Thomas records in my auctions!

Condition:the record looks mint- to ex++ with just a few superficial marks,to be seen under a strong light.Side 1 plays in mint- except for a little minor background-noise between just a few of the tracks,the rest plays in mint-.Side 2 plays in mint- except for 3 clicks in the dead wax at the beginning of the side and 3 more clicks behind the music on the first track,the rest plays in mint-.The cover shows just a hint of shelfwear,mint-.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system and I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,cleaned records are stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve and the cover will be placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
