Description:Massive 5 lp box set of this monumental minimalist work, essential to anyone interested in modern composition. A previous reviewer said:
"This is his real magnum opus, spanning on the 10 sides of the vinyls, an acoustic rite of sorts, as the music moves on spider legs through the space-time continuum. The combination of these intricate, absentminded, verbal incantations of Gertrude Stein with the translucent instrumentation of Petr Kotik in the trance-like performance by The S.E.M. Heiner Stadler is the founder of Labor Records, and both sheets are on the Labor Records stationary. Not sure if Merdi Gerstein is the mystery writer...anyway, all the inserts are in great shape. The box has slight soiling and a minor ding to one corner (should be visible in the photo), but the box hinge is intact, and there is no splitting. The records look unplayed! An absolutely beautiful copy. As the aforementioned seller said:
