The new THE SINGLES collection charts Collins' entire solo career from his smash 1981 debut "In The Air Tonight" to the title track from his most recent studio album, 2010's GOING BACK. It encompasses seven U.S. No.1s ("Against All Odds (Take A Look At Me Now)," "Sussudio," "One More Night," "Separate Lives," "A Groovy Kind of Love," "Two Hearts" and "Another Day In Paradise") plus a further seven Top 10 hits. It also includes many other highlights from his story so far, such as his first Grammy®-nominated single "I Don't Care Anymore," the Oscar-winning "You'll Be In My Heart" from Disney's Tarzan and numerous songs which became staples of his live shows. Few artists have so dominated the charts as Phil Collins, and the memorable music on THE SINGLES shows why.

The Singles is a compilation album and is Collins' third career-spanning collection—after ..Hits (1998) and Love Songs: A Compilation…Old and New (2004)—and came at the end of his Take a Look at Me Now series, which saw him remaster and reissue his entire back catalogue dating back to 1981's Face Value.  The compilation is made up of most of the hit singles from Collins' solo career, as well as lesser known singles.
