Description
Scarce original LP release from Phil Paonessa & Lifelight, Joy Comes In The Morning, issued on a private no-name label in 1979 (902024-2404). LP is in outstanding VG++ condition and cover is VG+. Original inner lyric sleeve is also included. A strong endorsement from Ken Scott in Archivist:
“Exceedingly nice acoustic rock and melodic twelve-string folk rock and ballads custom from small Michigan outfit. Paonessa on acoustic guitar and lead vocals is joined by Anne Brown on vocals, Mike Steiner on percussion, Miller Goodman on keyboards and Tom Zito on bass and additional guitar. “I Am Free” rejoices with upbeat phased guitar and congas, while flashy synthesizers buzz through heavier tracks like “When He Comes” and the nine-minute “The Easter Song”, stretching them out into progressive rock territory. High quality stuff that should have been picked up by a label.”
