You are bidding on a rare original promotional copy of Phil Ranelin's legendary spiritual jazz album, Vibes From The Tribe, on the Tribe record label, originally released in 1976.

Record Condition = VG+ : In terms of sound, even on the quiet parts, there is very little surface noise or pops or clicks…fantastic sounding record. Very few scuff marks or visible marks on the vinyl. There is a visible scratch between tracks 1-2 and 1-3 that does not affect the play of those songs and only produces a minor pop in between them (this moment can be heard at 3:00 in the audio preview linked above). Record labels look great, with very minor spindle marks. Side 1 label includes a stamped on “Not For Sale For Air Play & Promotional Use Only.” Dead wax/Inner matrix ID = Side 1: TRCD-4008-1-(R) Superdisc / Side 2: TRCD-4008-2 Superdisc
Cover Condition = VG : Front & Back of Cover look exceptional, with very little ring wear. Grading is due to three seam splits, a 7.5” split from the top of the back spine, a 4.5” split from the top left corner & a 2.5” split from the top right corner. Additionally, all four corners are worn, with slight creasing on the top two corners, and larger creasing on the bottom right. Generic white record sleeve, likely the original, with a small seam split at the bottom. Also includes a white index card showing this album was bought at Rappcats on 9-17-22 as part of the sale of PM Dawn’s Prince Be’s record collection.
