PHIL SPECTOR'S -A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR YOU
Philles Records PHLP-4005 Mono Pressing 1963

Up for auction is a beautiful "sealed" copy of arguably the greatest Christmas album of all time. The album features Christmas classics by The Ronnettes, The Crystals, Darlene Love, Bob B. Sox and The Blue Jeans and Phil Spector and all the Artists singing together. This is an extremely rare find and a great addition to any collection.



As you can see this has the original "Marshmellow" cover and is on heavy thick vinyl and cardboard, with paste-on back cover slick.
While I can't say with 100% certainty (because it's sealed), I will with 99% certainty say, I believe this to be the original 1st pressing on the blue/black Philles label. Not only are all indications there, but I bought this LP from a former record store owner's warehouse after he closed shop in the late seventies. Two other copies existed, both open and both on the blue/black labels. One of which I bought also, and have long since sold. But, I do believe these were all from the same stock.

The album is in MINT condition. It has been kept in a japanese mylar sleeve (first photo) since I got it, many, many years ago. It's only flaw would be some minor crimps at a couple of the corners. No wear or broken shrinkwrap, just some slight dings.

This would make a great Christmas present for you or a loved one!!! Plus, it looks beautiful with a bow on it, displayed with your holiday decorations (Yes! I've done that!!!)
