Description

Another item from my father's collection.  This rare album by Phil Woods and Donald Byrd released in 1957, looking not too bad for its age.  If you have seen my previous listings you know that I am in the process of selling a collection of albums that once belonged to my father, a former jazz studio musician who died before I was born.  I'll include details on his life, as I know them, for winners of these albums, because I think the story makes these items special.  I am selling them because I'm concerned that having them in a box for decades as I move around the country is just not the best way to honor them as artifacts of history, and the legacy of my dad and other musicians like him, so I hope they will each find their way to be part of a collection that is cared for and appreciated.  
I do not own a turntable and have not played this album, but a visual inspection shows no significant scratches or scuffs to the vinyl.  The jacket is in very good shape, suitable for framing.  Please send me any question you like.  I will do my best to answer promptly to the best of my knowledge.  Thanks for looking!  Happy bidding.
