Surely this is the RAREST of all that list of elusive Esquire LP's!!!!As always from Carlo Krahmers superlative jazz label, this is a beautifully recorded session, far and away superior to it's US counterpart!! - -In addition, this is a great find indeed, because the condition of both record and cover are beautiful!! - - The flipback sleeve is near perfect except for slight discoloration to the rear and a TINY stain to one corner, the seams and corners are FANTASTIC with absolutely NO splits or tears, amazing for this 50 year old plus release!!!!- - The disc is gleaming clean and shows practically no signs of any playtime, plus it has Rudy Van Gelders , RVG monogram in the dead wax, testimony to the mastering of this recording genius!! - - WHAT A FIND!!!!!! - -The brilliant Phil Woods , playing as ever his superlative alto, is backed here by the marvellous piano of John Williams, the equally outstanding, Teddy Kotick on bass and modern jazz drummer supreme, Nick Stabulas.
