As most serious classical LP collectors are aware, the Philips label issued some outstanding vinyl in the Golden Age of stereo recordings. The rarest of the Philips titles are the original, very first edition, plum label, "Hi-Fi Stereo" performances (see a picture of the label below). These LPs are typically superbly recorded, and hotly sought after in the collectors market. When was the last time you saw an original Hi-Fi Stereo Philips issue up for sale? Here is your chance to grab one of these rarities and experience for yourself why so many music lovers dearly covet these LPs!!

• HOLLAND - PHILIPS "Hi-Fi Stereo" RECORD LABEL LP Item

• PHILIPS RECORDS "MAROON / DEEP RED" Record Label Pressing with "SILVER" lettering (very first issue with "Hi-Fi Stereo" on both sides)

• HOLLAND pressing in STEREO

• Record vintage = circa 1960's pressing (heavy vinyl) in GORGEOUS NEAR MINT minus condition

• Laminated LP Jacket in SPECTACULAR NEAR MINT minus condition

• LP comes with the ORIGINAL Philips paper inner sleeve

CONDITION Details:

The LAMINATED LP jacket is in Near Mint minus condition. The jacket is completely intact, with NO seam splits, and shows only some very mild shelf wear - primarily slight rounding and slight bending of corners and slight weakening of seams. The colours on the front of the jacket are clean, vivid and bold (see picture below for more detail).

• Mint = Only used for sealed items.
• Near Mint = Virtually flawless in every way.
• Near Mint Minus = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible.
• Excellent = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise.
• Very Good Plus = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive.

Please understand that this is a very old record - as such, one cannot expect the record to sound like a brand new, audiophile pressing! Some noise is inevitable - for best results, always properly clean your LPs before playing them.

The LP is an audiophile quality pressing (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system).

To the USA: regular Air Service are based on weight, as follows -

CDs:

• Up to 250 grams:  $ 5.75 (approximate weight of 1-CD)

• CD shipping costs to the USA are: $5.75 for the first CD, and $3.25 for each additional CD (costs will decrease on a per unit basis as the number of CDs in a shipment increases)

• 251 to 500 grams:  $ 8.75 (approx 1-LP - please note that librettos, inserts and outer boxes count as a minimum, 1 LP)

LP shipping costs to the USA are:

• $8.75 for the first LP

• $15.50 for 2 or 3LPs

• $20.00 for 4 or 5LPs

• $25.00 for 6+LPs

• 501 grams to 1kg:  $15.50

1. Ground service is also available and although slightly cheaper, is not recommended due to the length of time it takes for packages to arrive at a customers address - usually about two months for overseas customers.
