This rare UK 1st press is on the the multi-coloured Chaoter 1 label. It is complete with the earliest XZAL 10154 P-1 / 10155 P-1 matrix and the laminated Clout & Baker sleeve.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. It has a sensational gloss, there is no whitening or signs of wear to the grooves, there are just a couple of light marks and a few wispy hairlines on both sides. The Chapter 1 label is exceptionally bright and completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is no spindle wear.
The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and the sound is exceptionally rich and warm. Superb clarity and audio separation from start to finish. It is not completely silent, there is some very light background noise but certainly nothing that spoils the enjoyment of this album at any point.
The laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The colours are rich and warm and the picture is sharp. The white is bright and the laminate has a superb mirrored gloss. The unlaminated back is extremely bright with just the very slightest ring wear. The whole sleeve is solid and the spine is firm with clear text.
