JEMP1057, 2012 Record Store Day Exclusive Release 


Phish's first full-length studio album, never available on vinyl until Record Store Day, April 21, 2012. The original 1/4" analog session tapes (recorded in 1988-1989) were mastered for vinyl by Bernie Grundman Mastering to produce this deluxe 3-LP 180g set, manufactured by Furnace MFG.


The "Pollock Edition" is limited to 5,000 foil-stamp numbered copies (2,500 of which were pressed for this specific edition, which includes a signed & numbered, limited edition, hand-carved, hand-printed linoleum block poster by artist Jim Pollock. The other 2,500 were pressed for the "Deluxe LP Edition" which does not include the poster).


Condition: Sealed, with a Mint cover! No creases or indentations, super-sharp corners, not even so much as a fingerprint on the hype sticker. As perfect a copy as you're going to see.


Packaging: Preserving the stellar condition of this lp is of the utmost importance! I will use a super-sturdy RECTANGULAR mailer that prevents damage to the corners of the lp cover.

USA: $4 Media Mail, or whichever faster or more secure delivery mode you prefer (in which case I will invoice the remaining shipping balance) International: Shipping cost will be actual, based on your location. I will invoice the remaining shipping balance once it is determined/agreed upon.


Grading:

Basic Goldmine standards, except that I will use a straight-up "M" if something actually appears perfect (it does happen, though rarely). I grade under a bright bulb while using strong reading glasses, so I see everything. In my opinion, "Sealed" can be a record grade, but is not a legit cover grade! Cover defects will be noted, even if sealed!
