I'm offering a Pieces Of A Dream test pressing self-titled 33rpm album. Pressed by Allied Record Company, Los Angeles. Released by Elektra Records in 1981. #6E-350. Matrix runout reads SLM 746 6E-350 BSH-SPAR STERLING. In stereo. In it's original black jacket and all white sleeve. I've owned this since it came out and have never played it. I worked in the entertainment business here in Hollywood and got a lot of records for free. Sometimes duplicates. It's in mint condition. Sleeve is in likewise condition. I'm including a publicity photo printed on a sheet of paper and a sheet with song titles and musicians. Both on 8½"x11" paper and seen in the gallery images. Combine auctions and save on shipping.

Pieces of a Dream is an American R&B and jazz fusion group. They formed in Philadelphia during 1976 with bassist Cedric Napoleon, drummer Curtis Harmon, and keyboardist James Lloyd who were all teenagers at the time. The group based their name on "Pieces of Dreams", a Michel Legrand tune recorded by Stanley Turrentine that they regularly performed. During 1981 Pieces of a Dream had a minor soul hit with 'Warm Weather' (vocals by singer Barbara Walker and synthesizer by Dexter Wansel) which was recorded on Elektra Records and co-produced by Dexter Wansel.
