Condizioni : la copertina laminata frontalmente presenta un pò d'usura negli angoli in particolare nei due inferiori. Nel retro sono visibili alcune macchiette brune e una moderata abrasione nella parte bianca a sinistra del bordo inferiore; grande stato, EX / vinile che presenta alcuni segni superficiali ed in particolare uno che attraversa nel primo lato quattro tracce, dalla seconda alla quinta. Tuttavia l'ascolto evidenzia un basso numero, più o meno quattro, cinque, di moderati clicks nel primo lato e pochi e di lieve intensità nel secondo; bello stato, VG++

Condition : front laminated cover shows a little wear in the corners especially on the upper right and the lower ones. In the back are visible some brown specks and a moderate abrasion in the white part on the left of the bottom edge, EX / vinyl has some surface marks and in particular one that passes through four tracks in the first side, namely from the second to the fifth. However listening detects a scarce number of moderate clicks, more or less four, five, in the first side while in the other side just few slight clicks are perceptible, VG++

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : magia, fascino e mistero della Polinesia da un lato, sensualità e dramma dall'altro sono ben riflesse nelle musiche di Piccioni. Al tessuto sonoro generalmente molto percussivo si unisce la buona presenza del coro e dell'orchestra. Menziono soltanto "Blue Rhythm Festival" (a4) dove un eccelente "drumming" e apparizioni fugaci dell'organo Hammond creano piacevoli sensazioni funk.

Notes : magic, mystery and charm of Polynesia on the one hand, sensuality and drama on the other hand are well reflected in the music of Piccioni. To the mainly very percussive sound texture joins the good presences of chorus and orchestra. I mention only "Blue Rhythm Festival" (a4) where an excellent drumming and short-lived appearances of Hammond funk create pleasurable funky sensations.
