Piero Piccioni - Io so che tu sai che io so
Italian pressing, General music GM 30702 (1982)
Very rare 1982 soundtrack by Piero Piccioni, don't let you mislead by the year, as the record is totally amazing! Loads of incredible blazing hip-hop beats with open drums patterns and huge basslines. Just listen to the killer down-tempo phased beats of the amazing IO SO CHE TU SAI CHE EGLI SA! Exotic and psychedelic latin-esque electric piano voodoo funk with killer jazzy soprano sax on the mad OCCHIO DISCRETO. More psychedelic voodoo madness on the killer funky samba RITMO MACUMBEIRO. Can't believe CHIRO AMANTI is actually an alternative version of the track KINTABU, the best track from the impossible to find COLPO ROVENTE soundtrack and CODICE D'AMORE is another take of the track ACAPULCO (from the aformentioned ost). Also three superb classic Piero Piccioni bossa, especially the beautiful VOLO DI MEZZANOTTE with Piccioni himself at the Electric Piano and Toquinho (Brazilian bossa god) at the guitar. Listen!
