FREE MOTE ONE / IL PRESIDENTE ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by PIERO PICCIONI with EDDA DELL'ORSO and ALBERTO SORDI. Original Italian pressing on the Cinevox label (MDF 020), from 1970. Desirable Italian soundtrack rarity and yet another killer example of the ever stylish Piccioni sound. Features his fabulous FREE MOTE ONE theme. An important film cue as it was originally titled 'Da Soli In Vacanza' on Piccioni's Scacco Alla Regina soundtrack on the Cinevox MDF 33/24 release from 1969. Many collectors still do not know that the best theme from this particular OST Lp was released on super-cool 7-inch format for another film score ;) Top of the top, Brazilian influenced lounge with sexy female scat harmony by Edda over a groovy samba rhythm section with latin touches / electric keyboards / jazz piano and hammond organ by the maestro. Great for DJs. Easily, one of the very best from the Italian OST lounge genre. The IL PRESIDENTE side is a kooky Alberto Sordi theme from IL Presidente Del Borgorosso Football Club, an obscure comedy film directed by Luigi Filippo D´Amico starring the cult actor and singer. Rare OST 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with some hairlines and a couple of mini sections of scuffs from storage. Some light surface noises. Superb production sound. The soft card picture sleeve is in VG++ condition overall, regardless of the old tape residue to the top and bottom seams (see photo). Some dirt marks from storage. Minimal ring creasing and corner wear. Rare OST 45!!!
