Weird and stoned Umiliani's compositions from this collectable LP on the great Liuto label. Surely composed for some unknown Film/TV programme, some of the best Italian musicians of the time are here collected again in this amazing Experimental Sound Work Shop recording session. Maestro Umiliani's deeply stoned descriptive themes, expertly performed, Abstract and dreamy. Magnificent themes played among Moody Jazz, Electric Jazz, Avant-garde, Moog and flutes, mysterious lysergic atmospheres, ghostly, radiating or solemn. It recalls in some points the powerful bassline of IL CORPO and the incredible R.Nicolosi's ATMOSFERA big horn session played by O.Valdambrini and Dino Piana. Soundclip:

Abstract Piano Fender atmosphere of "PENOMBRA" opens the first side accompained by the flute. "AVVENTURA" is amazing Jazzy flute vibes with elegant Lounge Jazz groove. The following "REGALITA'" martial Score sample favored by horns and Synthesizer. "CHIAROSCURO" is Fender Rhodes-Bass sweet Lounge tune. "CERIMONIALE ESOTICO" on the b side solemn and weird atmosphere followed by very nice "DESCRITTIVO E DOLCE", sweet and descriptive cinematic tunes set by enchanting flute notes. Same theme on the next "CANTO DI SIRENA" similar in style to F.Fabor's AQUARIUM, more mysterious and much groovin' with Synthesizer too. "BATTIMENTI A TARANTELLA" is 4:47 of moody rhythms with ecstatic flute, oustanding B.Tommaso bassline, deep Experimental/Avant cinematic vein. Not to be missed!
