Description

PIERRE ARVAY - ILLUSTRATIONS 8. De Wolfe Records DWLP3168 UK Mono LP 1970. ORIGINAL PRESSING. Condition: EX+/EX+(looks and sounds perfect and unplayed).

The French library music of Pierre Arvay played by The International Studio Orchestra and The Studio Group including two cues used on the original Dawn Of The Dead film soundtrack selected by George Romero and Dario Argento. Cool library artwork!

Side 1 includes the slow, pensive 'cello feature used on the film soundtrack of Dawn Of The Dead, played when Roger is near death and asks Peter: "Don't do it until you are sure I am coming back! I'm gonna try... not to... I'm gonna try... not to... come back. I'm gonna try... not to..."

Side 2 has electronic sci-fi drama music for the Ondes Martenot and includes the sad creepy electronic music played in the Mall when Peter says: "When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth."
