Description

Public Image Ltd – “Force”.  Rare 12” 3 disc vinyl set that was available only very briefly at record fairs.  Discs plays at 45 RPM.  The content consists mainly of a live concert recorded at the Pasadena Convention Centre on 7th November 1982, but also includes TV appearances on “The Old Grey Whistle Test” and “Top of the Pops”.  Tracks are:  “Immortal”, “Where are You”, “Annalisa”, “Religion”, “Bad Baby”, “Attack”, “Careering”, “Mad Max”, “Chant”, “Death Disco”, “Public Image”, “Low Life”, “Under the House”, “Poptones (Old Grey Whistle Test)”, “Careering (Old Grey Whistle Test)”, “Flowers of Romance (Top of the Pops)”.  “Immortal” is actually “Blue Water”, the title of which was obviously misheard by the compilers of this set.  Sound quality is not comparable with that of an “official” release, but it’s pretty good.  Certainly this is a “must-have” for any fan of PIL/John Lydon.  Sleeve is in excellent condition.  Vinyl is near mint.
