Description
This is the original 1967 UK LP by PINK FLOYD, THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN, STEREO 1st Pressing on the black and blue COLUMBIA label SCX 6157, with the "GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" rim credits on the label's and "Sold in the UK" label credits. Matrxi numbers are, SIDE 1:- YAX 3419-1, SIDE 2:- YAX 3420-1, stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 1 / A, SIDE 2:- 1 / M. The album comes complete with it's original "Use Emitex" die cut inner sleeve and the RARE E.J DAY 1967 UK 1st issue E.J DAY flipback cover.
The original 1967 1st issue Stereo E.J DAY flipback cover is in a strong VG+++/ EX condition, lovely and clean, the laminated front maintains all it's original bright vibrant colour, the back is fresh, clean, and with no scuffs. Their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the spine is fully intact and perfectly readable. Their is a little wear to wear to the corners, nothing serious, LOVELY COVER!.
The vinyl is in VG+++ condition, gleaming with all it's original shine and lustre, the vinyl plays SUPERBLY!, the vinyl has obviously been played a number of times, their is a little light crackle to be heard, mainly inbetween tracks, saying that the vinyl still maintains ALL it's crisp clear clarity!, delivering a STUNNING warmth and depth to this classic and RARE PYSCH LP!, A WONDERFUL LISTENING EXPERIENCE!!!
The original 1967 UK black and blue COLUMBIA label's with the large 'STEREO' are in EX+ condition, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the 'Columbia" blue lettering maintains al it's original bright vibrant blue colour, the spindal hole shows minimal wear, KT tax code is embossed in the centre of SIDE 2's label.
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1967 UK "Use Emitex" die-cut inner sleeve, and in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits.
Altogether a LOVELY copy of this RARE original 1967 Stereo 1st Press LP by PINK FLOYD, THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN, SUPERB STEREO SOUND!, and a CLASSIC RARE PYSCH LP!.
