Description
Up for auction is the an incredible find for the true PINK FLOYD Collector. A 2 LP Double ACETATE of the Legendary 1969 UMMAGUMMA LP Release, pressed as a test by Capitol Records in 1969.
This original set of two (2) double sided records was not meant to be played much, but was pressed so that the US label (Capitol/Harvest) "in-house" would have an idea how this album would sound on US vinyl eventually when released.
Typed White Labels with information including: Pink Floyd name, LP Cat. # STBB 388, and 6/69 date. Condition is very rough on side 3, the other three sides look far better, very much VG condition with some wear and scratches, but much better than side 3.
Not an item for play anyway, simply an original 60s document of a band about to change the face of classic "Album Rock" music forever.
An amazing display item, and one that won't be coming around again any time soon if at all. This is it, a double album, and a milestone in 60s Psych Classic Rock Albums.
