Description
Here we have 2 Single vinyl 7" records (45rpm); both with 2 tracks; by PINK FLOYD. BOTH are fairy RARE & COLLECTABLE. Both have the correct era, Columbia custom issue Sleeves. All 4 sides have Matrix numbers ending in -1 indicating very first issues.
Disc One, has A. It Would Be So Nice / B. Julia Dream. (1968) COLUMBIA DB 8401.
Condition : Vinyl (only) GOOD+ (lots of surface marks) . The A-side has noticeable clicks for the first 1/4, but plays well for the last 3/4; no jumps. The B-side is slightly better, but still has the odd click; plays well with no jumps. The disc has the centre pushed out & a (repaired) small rip in the label on Side A. Sleeve EXC.+ LISTED @ £90 (Mint).
Disc Two, has A. Point Me At The Sky / B. Careful With That Axe Eugene. (1968) COLUMBIA DB 8511 .
Condition : Vinyl GOOD- (minus) (lots of surface marks/scratches). The A-side has lots of clicks for the first half, but the second half is much better. Plays O.K. with no jumps. The B-side has noticeable clicking for the first half & then , although, the sound is clearer for the second half the needle sticks at the 3/4 mark if played with a light headshell. It plays through O.K. if a little extra weight is added to the headshell. Sleeve VG (small red biro mark in top right corner of front cover, otherwise EXC.). Labels are EXC. Sleeve is VG+. LISTED @ £100 (Mint).
Both discs have been played many times & are in (only) Good condition. Both play O.K., but with surface noise & (a possible) sticking point on one. Please don't bid if you looking for perfect or, even Very Good copies. These are only good, but not great for sound. Would make good Collection Filler until something better (& much more expensive) comes along.
