Description
PINK FLOYD A MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON OC 40599 US 1987 First Pressing NM/NM.
Please see all Item Specifics in that section above, and all pictures. Vinyl is about MINT —“looks unplayed.” Nice glossy shine. Jacket NM. Nice gatefold jacket with inner sleeve with lyrics. Great “The Floyd, Mannn!” Album from 1987. I remember this one well, very popular with the airplay they got with the several singles released: Learning to Fly / Terminal Frost / On the Turning Away / and of course, One Slip. Then the World Tour was awesome. “David Gilmore’s Pink Floyd.” This Album did not have Roger Waters, and Keyboardist Richard Wright returned to the Band. Also this one was not a “Concept Album,” which was a change for The Floyd. All-good though, these were good times, good times. Everybody was talking about David Gilmore. Some people swore they got a hint or feel of Syd Barrett, too lol. I don’t know about that, but what a difference from 1983’s The Final Cut (the Album previous to A Momentary Lapse of Reason.). Actually The Final Cut was a “momentary lapse of ALL-reason!” (“F-ALL THAT…!”)
