I will declare a lower amount on the customs form for all countries so as to avoid/decrease high import charges. However, in the case of the EU all purchases are subject to VAT which eBay collect at point of sale.
I recently purchased a stunning Pink Floyd collection where all the records and covers have been so well preserved by the previous owner. I am selling the majority of them during this auction.
Pink Floyd : A Nice Pair A2/B2/A3/B5
This double LP, featuring of course the classic albums 'The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn' and 'A Saucerful Of Secrets', plays to a fantastic standard and has more than likely never been played before. The clarity and definition of the audio is 'as new' and both vinyls are visually stunning with no spindle wear, I have never seen a better version of this album. It may not be a first pressing but if you want one with Mint audio then this is the one to have. I have played every track in full and I can confidently say there is no interference - just a couple of very minor static sounds that you find on new vinyl let alone one of this age.
The gatefold has been so well preserved over the last 45+ years with barely any wear and the picture inners are also in immaculate condition which is very rare indeed.
As this is a later pressing it has 'gargling monk' on the front as opposed to the 'Dr. Phang' picture. This is a 4th issue pressing and also has HTM etched on the S4 run off - this refers to Harry T Moss who is quite possibly the most famous mastering engineer out there. His 'cuts' are always highly sought after as they are known for their quality.

Visual grading
The vinyls are 'as new' with no sign of being played. They both have an immaculate jet-black glossy sheen and it goes without saying there are no marks or scratches. I have inspected them very closely and I cannot detect any hairlines either. They have obviously hardly ever been removed from their sleeves if at all! The yellow/green Harvest labels are pristine with no marking or spindle wear. The second record has a minor 'lift' on one edge but it isn't a warp and obviously has no affect on the stylus or the stunning quality of the audio.
Play grading
As you would expect from an un-played vinyl the classic 'Astronomy Domine' plays with incredible sonic quality throughout with no interference. I cannot emphasise enough just how sharp and precise the audio is, you can hear each note with perfect clarity. In fact there is no need to describe each track - suffice to say they all play 'as new' with no background. Even the quieter moments during 'Pow R. Toch H' play to perfection. As always I have listened to every second of every track and I can confidently grade S1 as Mint there are no negatives.
'Interstellar Overdrive' on S2 again plays to a standard you so rarely find today. There is no distortion and the clarity and resonance of the audio is second to none. Being such a clean vinyl you can hear the bass so clearly during the middle section - every instrumental section is exceptional, never heard better! It is a stunning Mint version! 'The Gnome' and 'Chapter 24' more than maintains this quality and the depth of sound on 'The Scarecrow' is just breathtaking. The classic 'Bike' ends the side with sublime precision and for once has no distortion. Another Mint side.

'Let There Be More Light' on S3 keeps up this fine form and plays with outstanding quality from start to finish. The clarity and depth of the audio on the rest of the side again provides further evidence of an un-played vinyl. The super quiet 'Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun' plays beautifully with only 3/4 seconds of minor distortion that is all. No ticks, clicks or pops. 'Corporal Clegg' has a little inner groove distortion here and there but when doesn't it? In my opinion it should not be downgraded because this is just the way it was recorded/produced I am sure. It is still a superb rendition.
The iconic 'A Saucerful Of Secrets' has to be heard to be believed! With only a couple of barely audible dust ticks on the intro it plays with STUNNING audio throughout and I have honestly never heard clarity like it! So quiet in so many sections and yet the playback is unbelievably good. The organ/vocal section is so 'clean' with only 3/4 very quiet static sounds - it is so close to Mint- but I will grade as Near Mint+ just to be safe! 'See-Saw' and 'Jugband Blues' end this double album with imperious quality and grade as Mint without doubt.
In summary this early pressing plays with remarkable quality on all four sides. There is not a loss else to say! The clarity, depth and warmth of the audio is so impressive and it is patently obvious it has hardly ever been played before if ever! Audio does not get any better than this! It may not be a first pressing but if you want PERFECT pristine audio then this is the one to own!
The Gatefold & Inner Sleeves
The cover is in superb condition with hardly any shelf wear. The top edges are perfect and the bottom edges have only a couple of tiny rubs. The wide spine is in great shape with only one minor 'crimp' and a couple of barely visible spots. The corners are close to perfect with no obvious wear and the opening edges have no handling wear either. The front cover has only a handful of minor 'spots' and I do mean minor, they are so faint, and the back cover is stunning with just a small price sticker bottom left. The inside of the gatefold is so close to perfect with only a minimal amount of fading top left but again you do not notice at first 'look' it is very faint. A stunning example overall.
For once the two picture inners are in immaculate condition with no wear at all. No side splits, marking or creasing.
Play tested on my Pro-Ject Essential III Turntable // B & W 684 Speakers
The records have been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
