Description
Pink Floyd
A saucerful of secrets vinyl LP First UK stereo pressing with black/blue columbia labels
Cat. no. SCX 6258 YAX 3633-1 and YAX 3634-1 matrices 1G and 1A stampers
Vinyl is in lovely condition. Clean and bright and still very glossy. Just a few light surface and the odd light hairline visible under strong light. One more noticable mark on side 1 track 3 but this is unfeelable and no more than a couple of millimeters long. EX
Labels are very clean with no writing, tears or stickers. Just a few light spindle trails on side 1 with only a couple on side 2. This has not been overplayed at all. EX+
Audio is fantastic. Plays through loud and clear with no sticks or jumps. Very little surface noise even between tracks and on the run ins and no distortion. Just four or five light clicks during 'Set controls........' caused by the aforementioned mark. Otherwise this is Excellent
Sleeve is in really nice condition. Clean and solid with very glossy laminate to the front. Spine is still straight and perfectly readable. Rear still clean although there is a name and date written in very small biro to the rear (see picture) and some minor wear to the bottom flipback and a couple of small areas of wear to the rear in general but otherwise this an Excellent clean example.
Includes original 'Emi' Inner which have no splits and only minor signs of handling. EX
Overall a really lovely example example of this very rare UK pressing. EX/EX

Gradings;
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..
Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
