PINK FLOYD - ANIMALS 1977 Japanese 1st Press COMPLETE w/OBI Insert Sticker EX LP


Pink Floyd - Animals 1977 Japanese 1st Pressing Complete w/OBI (small 1/4” tear to one spot to OBI - see pics), inner sleeve, lyric insert and sticker (sticker has a crease from being caught in gatefold). Fair offers always considered.


Sleeve: VG+ to EX

Solid gatefold sleeve is in very nice condition- Nice corners with only very light rubbing to a couple, perfectly legible spine, no seam splits…very light wear only! Complete with OBI strip which is intact…there is a tiny little tear to one of the seams. See pics!


Disc: NM- to EX+

Glossy and shiny…truly only a couple of superficial wispy hairlines that appear/disappear when tilted under bright light. A few around the very edge before the run-in groove mostly is all. STUNNING!


Play grade: EX to NM- … incredible! Plays close to new…I only heard a handful of one second crackles throughout…no ticks or pops…silent passages play silent. Would be hard to top.


Labels: NM-

No writing or anything save a few spindle traces when tilted under light.


Inserts:


Both the original poly-lined printed inner sleeve and insert both in FANTASTIC condition, as well as the original sticker, which is almost always missing! The sticker had gotten caught in the gatefold so there is a fold in it, but otherwise it’s unused and nice. See pics!


NOTE: I will be listing several Japanese pressings of 70’s prog-rock (Genesis, King Crimson, Camel, etc.) in similar condition so please watch my listings if you are interested! I will combine shipping on multiple orders. Add $1 per LP and wait for an invoice when buying multiples.


Shipping is $5 USPS Media Mail in the US Only

Disc will be ultrasonically cleaned, placed in a MoFi archival inner sleeve…then placed behind the jacket in a protective plastic outer sleeve…then sandwiched snugly between two cardboard stiffeners and shipped in a proper LP mailer.
