Description
PINK FLOYD - ANIMALS
1977 UK HARVEST SHVL 815 (2U & 3U)
VINYL = VG+
The disc has a really superb original clean glossy sheen. There are no visible nasty surface marks, scuffs, or scratches. There are only a couple of extremely fine hard to spot sleeve withdrawal traces / hairlines. Both sides play & sound mostly excellent throughout. There Is some light to moderate static / crackle to be heard, nothing overly loud, & just a handful of very light tics here & there, not many at all. No bad deep surface marks at all, & so no loud repeated clicks or pops, & no overly loud annoying crackle. This album actually looks hardly played, it just may need a professional deep clean to clear away some of the background crackle.
ORLAKE CONTRACT PRESS LABELS - NM
The labels are in near mint condition. Both are very clean, & still look as good as new. Almost all original UK pressings of Animals have flat smooth labels, but the labels on this copy are grooved & slightly textured at the centre, this because the vinyl was pressed at the Orlake Records Pressing Plant, Dagenham, Essex.
MATT GATEFOLD SLEEVE = EX
The 'Garrod & Lofthouse' matt gatefold sleeve Is In really nice shape. Nice & clean Inside & out. No unsightly marks or bad wear. Just a few very small narrow slithers of top edge wear, nothing bad at all. A excellent solid looking gatefold sleeve, with no nasty faults at all.
CARD LYRIC INNER SLEEVE = VG
The original card Inner sleeve with printed lyrics, is in nice shape. Excellent condition, all apart from 2 small seem splits, one at the left side edge, & the other at right side edge. This is the original earliest card Inner sleeve, with 4 rounded corners, & a 9'' Inch slot at the top opening edge. Later copies came with a much flimsier thinner inner sleeve, with all four corners being perfectly square.
I will only send this Item by recorded post. I pack my records very well. I always remove the inner sleeve & vinyl from the outer cover.
This is a UK auction only. UK Royal Mail tracked & signed = £3.38
