PINK FLOYD - ANIMALS
1977 uk Harvest SHVL 815. (4U -4B). Excellent very clean original uk copy with semi-textured labels, 'Garrod & Lofthouse' gatefold sleeve and card lyric inner with rounded corners. Side one has (SHVL 815 A-4U) machine stamped in run-off, and side 2 has (SHVL+815+B4) hand etched in run-off.
The vinyl is visually in EX++ extremely clean condition, both sides have a fantastic original clean deep glossy sheen, there are no stand-out bad surface marks, scuffs or scratches at all, just one or two tiny hard to spot very light top surface marks/hairlines, this vinyl looks very close to new and so both sides play and sound excellent with barely any background crackle, just some tiny amounts of light static/crackle in some very quiet pasages, just try and find a copy of this 'Pink Floyd' album that plays with no crackle at all. The audio is superb throughout with no lessoning in the sound quality. The semi-textured grooved labels are in superb clean condition with no marks or wear. The 'Garrod & Lofthouse' matt gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition, no bad faults to meantion, just a couple of tiny areas of light wear due to storage, nothing bad or unsightly at all. The vinyl has been kept in a separate white paper inner for years, so the original card lyric inner with rounded corners is still in excellent condition with no splits, just one small slither of wear down the centre of one edge.
